We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or refuse service where we reasonably believe these rules are breached or to protect users and the platform.
We use email in connection with operating the Service. The main categories are described below; other correspondence may occur from time to time outside automated delivery systems.
Optional newsletters and email digests are sent to people who subscribe or otherwise request them through Webfolio-owned signup flows (such as forms on webfolio.to or account settings). We do not use purchased, rented or third-party lists for newsletter or digest sending.
Newsletter and digest messages sent through our email delivery providers include a clear unsubscribe mechanism. We may maintain suppression records to respect unsubscribe requests, complaints, and invalid addresses.
Transactional emails, such as account, security, billing, submission, claim, placement, and support-related messages, may be sent where necessary to provide the Service.
Optional paid products (such as priority review, category boost, or launch spotlight-style placements) are offered at the prices and terms shown at purchase. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. You authorise us and Stripe to charge the payment method you provide for agreed fees and applicable taxes.
Placement scope, duration, and deliverables are those described on the site or checkout at the time of purchase. We will use reasonable efforts to fulfil purchased placements in line with that description, subject to moderation and editorial standards.
Browsing the directory, using on-site search and comparison features, and subscribing to the newsletter or digests where offered are free unless we state otherwise. Free submission and claiming remain subject to these Terms, moderation, and capacity limits. We may change or limit free features with reasonable notice where appropriate.
If you are a consumer (a natural person acting for purposes outside your trade, business, craft, or profession) in the European Union or France, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts, subject to the exceptions below.
Unless an exception applies, you have 14 calendar days from the day the contract is concluded to withdraw without giving any reason.
For digital services and paid placements, if you expressly request that we begin performance before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun in full, the right of withdrawal may not apply to the portion already performed, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code and EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
Priority Review and Launch Spotlight involve editorial or placement work that may begin promptly after purchase. Category Boost runs for a fixed 30-day window once your listing is live. At checkout, you will be asked to confirm any required acknowledgements before payment.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, send a clear statement to contact@webfolio.to or use our model withdrawal form within the withdrawal period.
If your withdrawal is valid, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same means of payment unless you agree otherwise.
Outside mandatory consumer rights, fees for paid placements are generally non-refundable once performance has begun or the placement has been delivered. Any discretionary refund or credit is at Webfolio’s sole discretion.
Anyone may notify us of content on the Service they believe is illegal. Notices must include sufficient detail for us to locate the content and assess the allegation. We handle notices in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA). Full instructions are on our illegal content report page.
We operate a curated directory. We may refuse, delay, edit, or remove listings, submissions, or accounts to maintain quality, comply with law, respond to rights holders, or prevent abuse. We are not obligated to host any particular tool or content.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will give at least 30 days’ notice before the effective date, via the Service, email to account holders, or both.
If you do not agree to material changes, you may close your account and stop using the Service without penalty before the effective date. Continued use after the notice period expires constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of Paris, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
